From May 2 to May 5, the Indian delegation will be led by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Incheon, South Korea, for the 56th annual general meeting (AGM) of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
On Monday itself, the Indian delegation is expected to leave. It will be made up of representatives from the department of Economic Affairs.
Official ADB member delegations, observers, non-governmental and civil society groups, media, financial institutions, banks, and other private sector enterprises will attend the meetings.
During her tour, Sitharaman will meet with corporate executives and investors in addition to conversing with international economists, bank governors, and finance ministers of ADB member nations. She will also have bilateral meetings with nations and international organisations, according to government sources.
